Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university, as on 1 August 2025.
Age Limit (as on 1 August 2025)
- Unreserved (UR): 20–37 years
- OBC/BC/EBC: 20–40 years (5-year relaxation)
- SC/ST: 20–42 years (5-year relaxation)
- Female (Bihar domicile): +3 years across all categories
- Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per Bihar government guidelines
Physical Standards
Male Candidates: Height 165 cm, chest 84 cm (expanded).
Female Candidates: Height 152 cm.
Important: Physical test includes only measurement – NO running, jumping, or athletic events. Candidates must pass height, chest, and weight measurement standards only.
Medical Fitness
Candidate must be medically fit and free from any communicable disease, visual/hearing defects, or permanent disabilities (unless as per recruitment rules). Medical examination is mandatory after interview.

Stage 1: Prelims (Objective)

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Can I apply if I’m pursuing my graduation?
No. You must have completed your Bachelor’s degree as on 1 August 2025. Pursuing candidates are not eligible.
Q2: Is there a running/race test in the physical exam?
No. The physical test includes ONLY height, chest (male), and weight measurement. There is no running, jumping, or race test for Police Sub-Inspector in this advertisement.
Q3: Can I apply for multiple posts?
No. Each candidate can submit only one application. If you submit multiple applications, all will be rejected, and you will be ineligible for this recruitment.
Q4: What if I missed the 9 August deadline?
